Namibian star player Zenatha Coleman has sent a come-get-me plea message as she looks to fulfill her dream of playing for Kaizer Chiefs.
With the Naturena-based outfit recently launching the Chiefs Ladies team, Coleman has once again reignited her interest in turning out for her dream club having openly expressed interest in the past.
Now plying her trade for Doğan Türk Birliği in Cyprus, the former Brave Gladiators captain recently called time on representing her country at the regional competition after guiding the Namibian national women’s senior team to their maiden COSAFA Women’s Championship title.
Coleman was named Player of the Tournament as they stunned hosts Banyana Banyana 2-1 in the final, avenging their defeat that dates as far back as 2006 when they went down 3-1 to South Africa.
Despite announcing her retirement from the regional tourney, staged in Polokwane, the 32-year-old could look to give it one more go at club level to end her glittering career on a high note.
Coleman posted a teasing message on her X account with the caption:
“Ready for Kaizer Chiefs ladies.”
Hailing from Keetmanshoop, an administrative capital of the Karas Region in southern Namibia, Coleman has featured for the likes of Gintra Universitetas in Lithuania, Fenerbahçe in Turkey and Spanish sides Real Zaragoza Femeninoin, Valencia and Sevilla.
She is the only Namibian women’s footballer to have racked up four CAF Women Footballer of the Year award nominations.
