Former Orlando Pirates striker Kwame Peprah has continued his goalscoring exploits in the Indian Super League for Kerala Blasters, netting the opening goal in a 7-0 drubbing of CISF Protectors.
The 23-year-old former Bucs man joined Blasters shortly after leaving the Mayfair outfit and has already begun the 2024/25 campaign in red-hot form. Peprah has amassed four goals and four assists in just three matches in the Indian Oil Durand Cup competition.
This was Peprah’s fourth goal in just two matches after netting a hat-trick in their resounding 8-0 success over Mumbai City in the same competition at the beginning of August.
Blasters, who have already sealed their spot in the quarterfinals, currently top Group C with seven points having won two matches with the other ending in a draw. They have also scored the most goals in the competition (15).
The Ghanaian international has also teamed up with Noah Sadaoui who briefly spent time with the now-defunct Ajax Cape Town between 2014-2015. Sadaoui netted three goals himself in this match.
The duo has combined a deadly attack for Blasters and currently top the goal scorers’ charts in the competition with Sadaoui having scored six goals and Peprah four.
