There will be no Champions League football for Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies who suffered a shock 2-1 defeat to Zesco Ndola Girls in the CAFWCL COSAFA Qualifiers semis at AW Muller Stadium on Friday afternoon.
The first period was quite an intense affair as both sides went at each other with their physicality, but the encounter lacked goals.

Just before the halftime whistle went, it was Banyana Ba Style who broke the deadlock through the ever-present Boitumelo Rabale who chested Lebohang Ramalepe’s cross before slotting past Hazel Nali to make it 1-0.
Ndola Girls came into the second half all fired up and pounced on Andile Dlamini’s error to equalise through Eneless Phiri to make it 1-1 in the 53rd minute.
Melinda Kgadiete had a woeful miss in the 82nd minute after breaking through on goal, putting her shot wide.
Sundowns were made to rue their missed chance as Frieda Kabwe netted the winner in the 88th minute to knock the favourites out as Ndola set up a final with Gaborone United on Sunday.
