Former Kaizer Chiefs winger Junior Khanye and former Orlando Prates midfielder Benedict Tso Vilakazi have predicated the scores for today’s CAF Confederation Cup and CAF Champions League 2nd leg preliminary matches against Kabuscorp SCP and Lioli.
Chiefs come into the game at the FNB Stadium trailing 1-0 from the first leg away in Angola and need to win by more than one goal and not concede to progress.
Pirates on the other hand head into the second leg at Orlando Stadium in a commanding position having won 3-0 against the Lesotho outfit in the first leg. Khanye has predicted his former side will be held to 1-1 draw and exit the competition.
“That team [Kabuscorp] is going to score and the game will end 1-1 I’m not going to change,” said Khanye on IDiski TV.
“Or there is a possibility it ends 2-1 with Chiefs leading but that team goes through because of the away goal. Chiefs have conceded in the last three games they played and they don’t have a strong character to win games.”
For Tso he wants Amakhosi to be victorious saying he believes if they get over this hurdle they can even go all the way in the tournament.
“In the previous game I said Chiefs can win or play to a draw but his one Chiefs have to win no matter what” said Tso.
“They have to win and I just want them to win by 2-0 because any draw is going to take them out. So I need them to win 2-0 and Chiefs will go through.”
As far as Pirates is concerned the duo has predicted an easy convincing win with many goals.
“I’m expecting a lot of goals Pirates are very professional that team is not going to score against Orlando Pirates they failed to score at home” added Khanye.
“Pirates will have a convincing win I see many goals I can’t even say how many goals. I think [Oswin] Appollis will score, Rele [Relebohile Mofokeng] too and [Tshegofatso] Mabasa will score one or two. Like I said the Pirates coach is professional and his players still want to prove themselves to him because there hasn’t been anyone who is sure of starting.”
“Lioli are coming to a slaughterhouse and this one is an easy one having won 3-0 away” added Tso.
“And the coach can give all the young and new players a chance. And I don’t think these guys can score any goal against Pirates so there can be three again or four, it’s an easy one for Pirates”
