Former Kaizer Chiefs players Itumeleng Khune and Siphiwe Tshabalala are among the standout names in South Africa’s squad for the Clash of Legends Cup.
The tournament will be hosted for a third time, with SA’s legends taking on Zimbabwe legends in the semi-final.
Meanwhile, hosts Botswana will take on Namibia legends in the other semi-final. The matches are set to take place on 21 June at Obert Itani Chilume Stadium, with SA’s game against the Warriors at 11am. The winners of the two semi-finals will then face each other in the final at 6pm on the same day.
South Africa is sending a strong legends team to Botswana, as 20 names were called up for the tournament – and the list reads like a who-is-who of yesteryear.
