Mouloudia Club d’Alger head coach Rulani Mokwena has refrained from talking about the Mamelodi Sundowns clash after a massive win over Al Hilal SC on Friday night.
Following back-to-back wins against DRC side FC Saint Eloi Lupopo and Sudanese side Al Hilal SC, Mokwena’s Alger find themselves in a qualification spot and need only a draw in their last game against Sundowns in Pretoria.
Alger have a bad away record in the CAFCL group stages after losing both away games against Al Hilal in Rwanda and suffered a late defeat against Lupopo in Lubumbashi.
After the game on Friday, as it was before the clash between Lupopo and Sundowns, Mokwena drew the line stating that he won’t speak about the clash against Sundowns, as he should be allowed to enjoy the victory for at least another 24 hours.
“I will not say anything about the next match. There are people waiting for a comment so I will say nothing about the next match,” Mokwena told the media on Friday night.
“Allow me to enjoy this victory just for 24 hours. I go to sleep tonight, I don’t watch any games, no I will watch the game we played tonight it’s called a bedtime story.”
