Wydad Athletic Club head coach Rulani Mokwena was left unhappy with the referee in their 1-1 draw against Union Touarga Sport.
Touarga Sport opened the scoring in the 16th minute from the penalty spot, with the officials taking five minutes to review a handball incident. Walid Nassi equalised for Wydad just before the half-time break, netting his first goal of the season.
The Red Castle scored via a late penalty in their previous league encounter against MA Tetouan, which they won 1-0 and currently sit on four points from three league games.
But the South African mentor was left unhappy by the match officiating after their 1-1 draw, stating he’s had issues in the last three games.
“If I talk about the referee I think I will be in trouble with the Botola officials and it’s not the first game and in the last three games I’m not so sure but anyway it is what it is,” Mokwena told the media.
Wydad are currently sitting fifth in the Botola Pro Inwi with four points after three games. They’ve lost one, drew one, and won one. Union Touarga Sport are top of the table with five points.
