Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Knowledge Musona believes the Warriors can have a good Africa Cup of Nations, even without the likes of Marvelous Nakamba, Marshall Munetsi and Khama Billiat.

The latter opted to retire from international duty after the November international break despite the tournament in Cameroon around the corner.
Nakamba and Munetsi, meanwhile, will miss the African showpiece due to injuries but Musona still insists his side have a lot of quality in their squad.
“It’s unfortunate that we are missing some players who were with us during the qualifiers because of injuries and other issues, but I think we still have the quality to compete with any team,” he told CAF’s official website.
“I definitely think that we are going to have a good tournament, especially with the preparations that we have done so far, and what we will still do in the remaining days.”
Musona, who will take part in his third AFCON, hopes his side can reach the knockout stages this time around but will have tough opponents in Group B, namely Senegal, Malawi and Guinea.
“I have already played at two AFCON finals without progressing to the knockout stages,” he added.
“Doing it now will mean a lot to me as an individual and to the whole team, because it will be historic for every player.
“It’s an opportunity for us to show that we can perform at big tournaments like AFCON.”
The Warriors start their AFCON tournament on Monday against 2019 runners-up Senegal.
