Former Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi has suffered his first defeat as coach of Raja Club Athletic.

The Tunisian manager took over from Fadlu Davids after the South African had lost back-to-back games in the beginning of June, which saw his club drop to fifth place – four points from the top.

Nabi had started his rein with a draw and two wins, but suffered a surprise defeat to relegation-threatened USYM.

The minnows came from a goal down, to beat Raja 2-1 thanks for goals in 45th and 56th minute.

The result saw Raja stay in fourth place, four points from new leaders AS FAR, who stayed ahead of MAS and RS Berkane thanks to a draw with the latter.

AS FAR, who are Nabi’s former side, are still unbeaten in the Botola Pro this season, winning 13 games and drawing 14.

Raja, meanwhile, have won 14 games but now also lost six already, with seven draws.

They face Ittihad Tanger and cannot afford to drop points again, otherwise their title push will be ended.
