Mamelodi Sundowns attacker Lesiba Nku is aiming for a CAF Champions League with the club.
The 27-year-old joined Masandawana at the beginning of the current season from relegated Marumo Gallants.
Nku needed no introduction to the Downs team after he had a stellar season with Gallants helping them to reach the CAF Confederations Cup semi-final.
After sniffing the CAF title last season with Bahlabane Ba Ntwaa, he made it clear that winning the Champions League with Downs would be an amazing way to announce himself.
“Making this move to Bafana Ba Style is a huge milestone for me and an important step in my career. I am excited to be here and winning the CAF Champions League would be an amazing way to announce my arrival at the club.” Nku told Sundowns magazine.
“I can’t wait for the opportunity to integrate into the team, showing the fans my style of play and the confidence I bring to the pitch. I believe that working together as a team, we have the potential to get some silverware this season.”
Masandawana will face Burundian side Bumamuru in the 2nd round of CAFCL qualification this coming weekend. Then the second leg will be played in 15 days time.
