Orlando Pirates have named their starting XI for this evening’s CAF Confederations Cup group stages match against Al-Ittihad.
The Buccaneers are on top of group B, just three point above Al-Ittihad, Royal Leopards and JS Saoura – and they will be hoping to extend their unbeaten streak in the group and looking to write a good record against today’s opponents.
The Soweto giants edged Saoura 2-0 at the Orlando Stadium on Sunday, before they played to a goalless draw at the same venue against Golden Arrows in the DStv Premiership on Wednesday.
This will be the first meeting between the two teams and are both coming to the match unbeaten in their last five games across all competitions, but picked some draws throughout.
The game kicks off at 18:00 at the Martyrs of February Stadium, Libya.
Here is how they line up:
Al-Ittihad XI: Abukhres; Mhadhebi, bin Ali, Al-Warfali, Sabbou; Al Haram, Al Khouja, Ngoma, Elhouni; Elsay, Hamad.
Subs: Alajnaf, Khaleel, Shaldun, Dagou, Farhat, Aboud, Ayadi, Zubya, Belhaj.
