Orlando Pirates centre-back Olisa Ndah has been called up into Nigeria’s latest squad.
Ndah, 26, has been one of the main pillars in Jose Riveiro’s Pirates line-up since returning from his long injury layoff last season.
He has featured in all three games for the Buccaneers this campaign and has even been captaining the side, scoring once.
His fine form has been rewarded by new Nigeria coach Bruno Labbadia, who called him into his first official squad ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin and Rwanda next week.
So far, Ndah has represented the Super Eagles twice, but he last made the squad during the 2022 AFCON.
Chippa United goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali is also part of the squad.
