Pyramids FC head coach Krunoslav Jurčić reckons they were unlucky not to come away with a win in the first leg and will aim to make up for that against Orlando Pirates in order to reach the CAF Champions League final.
The Egyptian outfit is having one of its best seasons as it finds itself sitting top of the Egyptian Premier League and is currently in the semifinals of CAFCL.

Jurčić and his charges could be on the cusp of winning a league and cup double, but they will have to overcome the South African giants who they managed to breach twice though VAR ruled both goals offside.
With the return leg goalless, Pyramids will have to win the match if they are to reach the CAFCL final, should they play a draw of goals they will be eliminated on away goal rule. A goalless draw would send the tier to penalties.
“We will play a difficult match against the Orlando Pirates, and I think any team that reaches the semi-finals will be difficult to face because it is one of the top four clubs on the continent,” said Jurčić, according to Yallakora.
“I trust my team’s players, and we will present a better match in Cairo, and we will work to take advantage of all opportunities to register for Orlando Pirates.
“We are in a very excellent stage and we are going through a wonderful period at the technical and physical level and we are happy to reach this stage and reach the semi-finals and our goal is to win tomorrow and book the qualification card for the final, in order to continue the wonderful and honourable journey, we deserve this moment and win the Champions League.
“The rest of the players are ready to play this match, and they are excited to play this match, and if it were not for bad luck, we would have scored two goals and won in Johannesburg.
“We have to take advantage of all opportunities in tomorrow’s match, registration and crossing for the next round, without rushing and rushing and leaving spaces to the opponent.”
The match gets underway at 20:00.
