Bafana Bafana have announced their starting XI to face European minnows Andorra in a friendly match in Algeria this evening.
Hugo Broos’ men come into this game as favourites after clinching the bronze medal at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
While Bafana are unbeaten in six successive games (after 90 minutes), Andorra have now won any of their last 13 matches, losing 10 of those.
In fact, in their entire history, the European nation with a population of just over 81,000 have won just 13 matches since being recognised by FIFA in 1996.
The game is part of the new FIFA Series, which connects associations from different continents, who do not normally have the opportunity to play each other.
Here is how they line up:
Bafana XI: Goss, Mokwana, Sibisi, Xoki, Mashego, Monare, Mosele, Morena, Maswanganyi, Mayo, Mbanjwa
Subs: Bvuma, Mobbie, Xulu, Modiba, Kekana, Mokoena, Appollis, Zwane, Margeman, Mayambela, Rayners
