Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos has called up 12 new players to his squad for the upcoming friendlies.
Bafana will take on Tanzania and a second opponent in June, with SAFA yet to announced the details for the two games.
Broos did state previously that he will use the June friendlies to give some new face a chance to impress, while also confirming he would not call up Mamelodi Sundowns players due to their participation in the FIFA Club World Cup.
Instead, several returnees and new face have been included in his 41-men preliminary squad. Some of the standout names Orlando Pirates duo Mbekezeli Mbokazi and Mohau Nkota, as well as Kaizer Chiefs’ Mduduzi Shabalala.
Shandre Campbell, who has impressed at Club Brugge in Belgium, is also among the new faces.
