Bafana Bafana take on Uganda in the penultimate 2025 AFCON Qualifiers clash at the Mandela National Stadium in Kampala this afternoon with the match set to be broadcast on SABC 2 and SABC Sport.
Both teams have already sealed qualification for next year’s continental showpiece in Morocco after Congo Brazzaville suffered a shock 3-2 defeat at the hands of minnows South Sudan on Thursday.
The Cranes still top Group K with 10 points closely followed by South Africa with eight as the battle for top spot takes centre stage.
Bafana have now qualified for 12 Cup of Nations finals in 17 attempts, having being crowned champions in 1996 and then finished as runners-up in 1998. They were also semifinalists in 2000 and earlier this year in the Ivory Coast when they came away with the bronze medal.
