Bafana Bafana’s match against Ivory Coast will once again not be shown on the traditional SABC channels, so here is how you can watch it.
Hugo Broos’ men have a stern test ahead of themselves after their lacklustre 0-0 draw with eSwatini, facing next year’s Africa Cup of Nations hosts in Abidjan.
Ivory Coast drew 1-1 with Africa’s highest-ranked team Morocco during the current international break, and will have the home crowd behind them.
Both teams have met seven times in the past, with Bafana actually having the better head-to-head record with two wins to Ivory Coast’s one, while four matches ended in a draw.
However, the match will not be shown on SABC’s traditional channels SABC1, SABC2 or SABC3, despite the public broadcaster having the rights for the match.
Instead, they will again show the game live on SABC Sport on DTT channel 4, on SABC+ (SABC’s streaming app) and SABCSport.com.
