Orlando Pirates midfielder Masindi Nemtajela has expressed his feelings about not being selected for the AFCON squad.
The 24-year-old was initially included in the 55-man provisional squad but was ultimately left out when the team was reduced to 25, missing the chance to play on the continental stage.

The Pirates midfielder was touted as one of the midfielders Hugo Broos might select for the trip to Morocco, especially after earning his first call-up for the international friendly against Zambia.
Nemtajela stated that he was not disappointed about being left out of the final squad announced last week by the Belgian coach.
He believes that he needs to work harder to secure a spot as a regular in the national team.
“I won’t say I’m disappointed,” Nemtajela told the journalists.
“It was the first time that I got a call-up from the senior national team [against Zambia].
“I was used to playing the COSAFA tournament. But I believe it means I need to pull up my socks.”
