Banyana Banyana head coach Desiree Ellis has announced her final 26-woman squad for the upcoming Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
Ellis had already trimmed her preliminary squad to 28 names, with the big surprise absentee being star forward Tembi Kgatlana.

On Monday, Ellis announced her much-anticipated final selection, as Banyana ready themselves to try and defend their title from 2022.
The African champions have been drawn in Group B with Ghana, Mali and Tanzania at the event starting from 5-26 July.

Kaylin Swart, Andile Dlamini, Dineo Magagula, Casey Gordon
DEFENDERS:

*Casey Gordon and Nthabiseng Majiya will not be traveling with the squad on Tuesday, 24 June, but are on standby.
