Banyana Banyana head coach Desiree Ellis has named her 23-member squad to face Tanzania in the next round of the 2024 Olympics qualifiers.
The 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations champions eliminated DR Congo 3-1 on aggregate in the previous round and will now face Tanzania on 23 and 27 February – first away from home, while the second leg will be played at Mbombela Stadium.
They need to get past Tanzania to have a chance of becoming one of the four teams to represent Africa at the Paris Olympics, with the winner between Cameroon and Nigeria waiting in the fourth and final round.
