Two Banyana Stars Complete Moves To Mexico

Banyana Banyana stars Hildah Magaia and Sinxolo Cesane have completed moved to Mexican side Mazatlan FC.

The duo have joined Jermaine Seoposenwe and Thembi Kgatlana in the Liga BBVA Femenil, which is attracting at lot of global stars in women’s football.

Magaia joins Mazatlan from South Korean side Sejong after her fine exploits at the 2022 FIFA Women’s World Cup, where she scored two goals, have raised her profile internationally.

Meanwhile, Sinxolo Cesane – the twin sister of Noxolo Cesane, moved to Mazatlan from USA’s East Tennessee State University.

She became a permanent Banyana feature after the World Cup, and will now continue to raise her game in Mexico.

Mazatlan finished the first half of the campaign at the bottom of the Mexican league, collecting just two points from 17 matches.

Meanwhile, Seoposenwe plays for Monterrey and Thembi Kgatlana recently completed a record deal to Tigres UANL.
