The 2024 edition of the KZN Premier’s Cup was conducted at the Southern Sun Elangeni Hotel in Durban on Tuesday, with six teams set to battle it out for the top prize.
Last year’s winners, AmaZulu, have been pitted against Lamontville Golden Arrows in the day’s first fixture at 11am.
Royal AM went down 2-0 to Usuthu in the quarterfinals last time out, and have now been drawn against Milford FC at 2pm.
The 2023 losing finalists, Richards Bay will take on Maritzburg United at 9am on Day 2 in the first semi-final, while the second semi-final clash at 11:30am, will feature winners from game 1 and game 2.
Usuthu emerged winners in last year’s final after a 5-4 penalty shootout win against the Natal Rich Boyz, and will look for a strong start to their cup defence.
The matches will take place on 27-28 July at the Prince Mangosuthu Regional Stadium in Ulundi.
