The kick-off dates for the 2025/26 season have been confirmed, with the Premier Soccer League campaign starting with the MTN8 quarter-finals on 1 August.
The PSL leadership sent a NSL circular to their member clubs on Monday, informing them of the start dates for the 2025/26 campaign.
In the circular, which was seen by this publication, the PSL confirmed the season kicks off with the traditional curtain raiser, the MTN8 quarter-finals, as Orlando Pirates will aim to lift their fourth successive title.
Just a week later, the new Betway Premiership campaign will start, with the fixtures yet to be released, when Mamelodi Sundowns will aim to defend their title for a ninth season.
Meanwhile, the Motsepe Foundational Championship kicks off on 22 August, where the successor of Durban City will be searched for.
Last but not least, the PSL also confirmed the DStv Diski Challenge will restart on 6 September, with Kaizer Chiefs set to defend their title.
