AmaZulu FC will be without the services of their key midfielder Siyanda Hlangabeza for their midweek fixture against Kaizer Chiefs.
The 23-year-old has established himself as a regular in the starting lineup under Arthur Zwane, who’s leading the youthful squad this season.
Hlangabeza returned to Usuthu ahead of the start of the season, having been on loan at Durban City, where he played a huge role in helping the club secure the promotion to the top flight.
He has started all eight matches that the team has played this season – seven in the Betway Premiership and one in the MTN8.
Hlangabeza will not be part of the team facing Amakhosi in Wednesday’s league outing at FNB Stadium after receiving a red card against TS Galaxy.
The KZN side will be aiming to bounce back after losing 3-1 to the Rockets on the road. They are ninth in the league standings with 11 points after seven matches played.
Meanwhile, Chiefs will also be out looking to get back to winning ways after drawing 1-1 with Marumo Gallants in their previous match. They sit sixth on the log with 14 points after seven matches.
