AmaZulu To Miss Key Defender Against Pirates

AmaZulu FC will have to cope without one of their key defensive figures when they travel to Gauteng for a crucial encounter against Orlando Pirates this weekend.

The two teams are set to meet in a Betway Premiership fixture scheduled for Saturday, 18 April, at the Orlando Amstel Arena, with kick-off at 15:00.

Both sides head into the match eager to bounce back after dropping points in their previous outings.

The Buccaneers were forced to settle for a 2-2 draw against Richards Bay FC at the uMhlathuze Sports Complex, a result that dealt a blow to their title ambitions. Meanwhile, Usuthu played out a 1-1 draw away to Siwelele.

The KZN side’s coach Arthur Zwane will be forced into a defensive reshuffle, as Nkosikhona Radebe is suspended after being sent off for two yellow cards in the previous match.

Elsewhere, Stellenbosch FC will also be missing Wonderboy Makhubu for their clash against Sekhukhune United this evening.

Makhubu received a red card during their win over Chippa United and continues to serve his suspension, having already missed the match against Richards Bay.
