Another shocking Premier Soccer League coaching change is looming as the second round of the Betway Premiership campaign gets underway.
As first reported by FARPost, Sinethemba Badela is set to part ways with the Durban City, having been appointed towards the end of the last year.
Badela prepared the Durban-based side while the Africa Cup of Nations was going on in Morocco, with the club looking to continue their strong start in the league.
He was in charge of just three matches, winning two and losing one. On Friday night, he guided Durban City to the next round of the Nedbank Cup after knocking out Chippa United.
Sources have confirmed the official announcement will be made this afternoon, explaining the susprise decision and the way forward as they now look towards their third head coach appointment at the half-way mark of the 2025/26 campaign.
This is the second time that Badela is shown the exit door this campaign, having also parted ways with Chippa United after leading the side after just two games.
Durban City are sixth on the league standings with 25 points after 17 matches.
