Arrows Snap Up Former Sundowns Striker

Golden Arrows have completed the signing of former Mamelodi Sundowns striker Jerome Karelse on a three-year deal.

Karelse had a stellar season in the Western Cape ABC Motsepe League with Houtbay United under the guidance of Michael Loftman with the 22-year-old scoring 20 goals to win the top goalscorer award in the WC ABC Motsepe League.

iDiski Times has established that Karelse will be joining the senior side upon his arrival at Abafana Bes’thende.

Head coach Manqoba Mngqithi is familiar with Carelse from his days at Sundowns, but never really got the opportunity to work closely with him, although he always rated him highly.

The former Houtbay striker is expected to lead the attack of Arrows after Knox Mutizwa left before the end of the 2024/25 season.
