Sinethemba Badela has shared a strong vision for Durban City after taking reins, replacing Gavin Hunt.
The former Chippa United head coach was unveiled last week as the new head coach of the Durban-based side.
He was appointed after City parted ways with Hunt, who has since taken over at Stellenbosch following Steve Barker’s departure
Badela has made it clear he wants a team that dominates every match it plays in the PSL.
“I want a team that dominates the game, both with and without the ball. More importantly, I want the players to express themselves, play with energy, and work extremely hard on the pitch,” he explained as per the club’s website.
Badela says he is encouraged by the team’s progress so far and intends to build on the work done by his predecessor.
“The team has done very well so far. My focus is on continuing that progress and helping the players fully express their strengths on the pitch,” he added.
“We want people to enjoy coming to the stadium. We will give everything in every game and make Durban City an exciting team to watch.”
