Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma has reacted to Itumeleng Khune’s criticism after the former told iDiski Times in an exclusive interview that he feels Bvuma didn’t listen to his advice.
Bvuma, 29, is currently Chiefs’ number one after Fiacre Ntwari and Brandon Petersen featured in the early parts of the season.
However, Bvuma has now played in 21 games this campaign, keeping eight clean sheets so far. After Khune stated he feels his successor at Chiefs somewhat failed to listen to his advice, Bvuma says he does talk to the club legend.
“Itu is a club legend, what he has done for our team, I don’t think anyone of our generation will do,” he said on Thursday when asked about Khune’s comments.
“What he has done for the country is very big. I respect him. I do talk to him, I do talk to Itu and whatever happened happened, what he said he said…

Bvuma and Chiefs are back in action on Saturday when they will play Marumo Gallants before facing Orlando Pirates in the back-to-back Soweto Derbies.
