Cardoso explained that having so many quality players at his disposal sometimes makes it challenging to decide who should feature in the starting line-up.
Despite the selection dilemma, he praised his players for their understanding and professionalism when they are not given opportunities, highlighting their commitment to working hard and making the most of their chances.
“Sometimes I have difficulties dealing with this situation because there are so many players with quality that I would like to give more opportunities to and sometimes it’s really, really difficult to be in my chair,” said Cardoso.
“I have fantastic players that they do understand the difficulties. The way I explain them my job is also accepted from their side and they are very professional on the level of commitment when they are in or they are not because they know that when they are not is where they need to stuck more to the work because any moment, they go and they need to perform and usually they do.
“So, I’m a very happy coach because of the attitude of my players in general.”
