Former Orlando Pirates midfielder Lebohang Mokoena has identified four positions his former side need to reinforce after no signings in January.
Pirates released some players in January with no incomings for the second round of the campaign where they are involved in the title chase, the defense of the Nedbank Cup and the knockout phase of the CAF Champions League.
‘Cheeseboy’ told iDiski Times writer Lethabo Kganyago in edition 195 of the newspaper that four areas should have been considered in January and can still be looked into in the future.
“I think going to the market, I think a winger, a proper centre-back, a top striker and another creative midfielder to come and assist,” Mokoena told iDiski Times.
“So, you rather have two in a position. Have a type of player who plays [Relebohile Mofokeng] Rele on the left. I should have another player that if I take Rele out or he’s not available for a game, I’ll still have the same impact from the player that I’ll be bringing in.

“They need to do that; they need to double up the positions with the same quality.”
