Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the appointment of former Al Ahly assistant coach Cavin Johnson as their new Head of Academy.
Johnson, who was serving in an advisory role at Motsepe Foundation Championship side NB La Masia holds extensive experience in South African football.
One of the coaches who was mentored by the late Ted Dumitru, Johnson coached Platinum Stars, SuperSport United, AmaZulu, and Black Leopards before spending one season with Al Ahly alongside Pitso Mosimane.
Amakhosi have now confirmed the appointment of the experienced coach to oversee the development and head up the scouting department.
