Kaizer Chiefs co-coach Khalil Ben Youssef has outlined his expectations ahead of a crucial Betway Premiership encounter against Polokwane City.
Following their emphatic victory over Magesi FC in midweek, Amakhosi remained in Polokwane as they prepare to face Rise and Shine at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday.
Chiefs will be aiming to extend their impressive run to six consecutive wins, having already built strong momentum with five victories in a row.
Ben Youssef emphasised the importance of securing maximum points, stating that a win would further solidify their grip on third place, especially after opening up a six-point gap over fourth-placed AmaZulu FC.
“When we started the season we said that we are managing every game, each game per game as a cup game,” said Ben Youssef.
“Every game it’s difficult for us. Every game we have to fight. The most important thing is that we think only about ourselves, we think only about our performance.
“This is the best moment and we will do the same performance like we did last few games. I think we need to win this game to confirm our position and to continue to fight.”
