Kaizer Chiefs assistant coach Khalil Ben Youssef has insisted the technical team and squad are only focussed on the next game and not thinking about the Soweto Derby yet.
Amakhosi face Babina Noko on Sunday, before the Nedbank Cup weekend, with the exact date of their fixture against Free Agents FC yet to be announced.
Nasreddine Nabi will miss both those games, but should be back on the sidelines against Orlando Pirates in the derby, with his assistant stating they’re only focussed on the next game.
“For us there is Sekhukhune, after that is cup game,” he said when asked about the derby.
“We have to focus about Sekhukhune, when we finish with Sekhukhune we think about cup game.
“Then we discuss about the derby, but now we have Sekhukhune. We manage game by game, week by week.

“We don’t think about next month or derby, the team is focussed on managing the next game.
“When it’s the week of the derby I can answer for you what we have to prepare for the derby.”
