Chiefs Give Injury Update

Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that Reeve Frosler has recovered from his dislocated shoulder bone injury and is part of the pre-season camp in the Netherlands.

Frosler, 27, picked up a serious injury in March against Cape Town City but has now returned to team training.

“Reeve Frosler has recovered from his dislocated shoulder bone injury, which he sustained in the match against Cape Town City in March,” the club stated.

“It meant that Frosler didn’t have much of an off-season as the wing-back visited the High Performance Centre at Chiefs Village five times a week to be fully recovered ahead of the pre-season training camp.”

Frosler himself says he’s looking forward to the camp in the Netherlands and that the atmosphere in camp is great.

“I like it that we know this year exactly who we will be playing against. Besides that, the environment where we stay is very nice. Very quiet also,” he told Chiefs’ media team.

“Pre-season is always so important, as that’s where you lay the foundation for the season. The atmosphere in the camp is excellent. Pre-season is hard work, but we are ready for it.”

Frosler has featured in 21 games this past season, setting up three goals. Overall, he has made 158 appearances, scoring twice and assisting in 12.
