Chiefs Give Nabi Update

Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that Nasreddine Nabi should return to the bench when Amakhosi host Richards Bay in Polokwane next week.

The Glamour Boys return to action on 27 November, when they welcome the Natal Rich Boyz ar the New Peter Mokaba Stadium.

The game marks Chiefs’ first league fixture since their 2-2 draw with Magesi on 30 October, even though they won the Home of Legends Cup in between.

Nasreddine Nabi’s men will stay in Polokwane as they are hosting Royal AM at the same venue just three days later, with the head coach expected to return to the bench for both matches.

“Coach Nasreddine Nabi is expected to be back in the dugout after missing last weekend’s Home of Legends friendly tournament in Gqeberha due to an operation,” Chiefs said in a statement.

Amakhosi, though, will miss Inacio Miguel after his red card in the Carling Knockout defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns, while they are yet to give an update on Fiacre Ntwari after he picked up an injury on international duty.

Chiefs are currently eighth on the log with seven points, but could still make a substantial jump, as they have two catch-up games compared to the top-four.
