Chiefs Honour Khune

Kaizer Chiefs have given Itumeleng Khune a special guard of honour and handed over two memorabilia kits ahead of their final home match of the season.

Amakhosi had announced they were planning to honour Khune for 25 years of service, as he is set to end his playing career – at least at Naturena.

Khune, 36, made his Chiefs debut in 2007 under Muhsin Ertugral and never looked back.

Overall, has made 346 appearances for Amakhosi, as per Transfermarkt, and lifted three league titles, two Nedbank Cup, three MTN8 trophies and four Telkom Knockouts at Naturena.

On Saturday, Chiefs first gave Khune a guard of honour ahead of their game against Polokwane City, before Kaizer Motaung Jr. and Bobby Motaung handed Khune two Amakhosi shirts.
