Chiefs Provide Fixture Update

Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that their next Betway Premiership clash against ORBIT College has been moved to a new venue and date.

The Glamour Boys go into the international break after bouncing back with two consecutive league wins to move into fourth place on the log.

They beat Durban City 1-0 courtesy of Glody Lilepo’s solitary strike before following that up with a 2-0 victory this past weekend with academy graduates Wandile Duba and Mfundo Vilakazi both recording their names on the scoresheet.

The clash against Mswenko Boys was scheduled to be staged in Rustenburg, North West province, but the club has now confirmed the fixture has been moved to Nelson Mandela Bay stadium in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape.

“Kaizer Chiefs’ upcoming away match against Orbit College has been rescheduled. Originally set to take place in Rustenburg, North West province, the fixture will now be played at the Nelson Mandela Bay stadium in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape.

“In addition to the venue change, the date and kick-off time have also been adjusted. The match, initially scheduled for Tuesday, 7 April at 19:30, will now take place on Easter Monday, 6 April at 15:00.

“The decision to move the game was made at the request of the home team, Orbit College, due to the unavailability of the Royal Bafokeng stadium and to better accommodate the expected crowd. Ticketing information will be shared in due course,” the club stated on their official website.
