Chiefs To Miss Two For Must-Win Sekhukhune Clash

Kaizer Chiefs will be without centre-back Inacio Miguel and left-back Bradley Cross for their must-win Betway Premiership clash against Sekhukhune United on Saturday through suspension.

The Angolan international received his fourth yellow card of the campaign in their Nedbank Cup final win over Orlando Pirates last weekend while Cross was red-carded in the Soweto derby league defeat the week before.

Celebrations will be on pause for Amakhosi as they get back to business against an in-form Babina Noko side. Nasreddine Nabi’s troops are aiming to push for a top eight finish, while Sekhukhune are gunning for third position and a ticket to CAF inter-club competition next season.

Babina Boko have a chance this weekend to cement their third spot but have also been dealt a suspension blow to striker Chibuike Ohizu, who has been massive for them with eight goal contributions this season. The Nigerian received his fourth yellow card of the term in their 1-1 draw against Magesi FC.

In the other top eight fight between Marumo Gallants and Chippa United, the Chilli Boys will miss Sergio Kammies as he will be serving his third match suspension after his second red card of the season, and according to the rules, once a PSL player receives two red cards in one season, on the second one, he will serve a three-match suspension.

Magesi FC will face league champions Mamelodi Sundowns without Delano Abrahams and Lehlohonolo Mtshali and the relegation battle between Richards Bay and Golden Arrows, will see Lindokuhle Zikhali of Bay missing the match after he scored and received a red card in their 1-0 win over TS Galaxy.
