Chippa United and Kaizer Chiefs have announced their starting XIs for this afternoon’s DStv Premiership clash at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.
The hosts enter the game on a bad spell of form, having won just one of their last 15 league games and picking up just two points in their last seven matches in the DStv Premiership.
The run has seen chairman Siviwe ‘Chippa’ Mpengesi changed coaches three times – from Morgan Mammila to Kurt Lentjies, from Lentjies to Siyabulela Gwambi and from Gwambi to Lehlohonolo Seema.
They have dropped into the relegation/promotion spot on the log with 26 points from 26 matches, two behind Swallows and Marumo Gallants.
Chiefs, meanwhile, saw their hopes of finishing in second place seriously dented after they lost 1-0 Sekhukhune United and draw 1-1 with Gallants, dropping to five points behind Soweto rivals Orlando Pirates in third place and six behind second-placed SuperSport United, who have a game in hand.
Chippa beat Chiefs 2-1 at the FNB Stadium earlier this campaign and could secure the double over Amakhosi.
Arthur Zwane confirmed ahead of the match that Keagan Dolly will sidelined with injury for the rest of the season.
