Chippa United has parted ways with seven players and more are still expected to leave the club.
After surviving for yet another season in the Betway Premiership, iDiski Times learnt that Chippa have informed several players they will be moving on.
Lukhanyo July, Xolani Sithole, Ayabulela Konqobe, Bievenu Eva Nga, Somila Ntsundwana, Bongani Sam, have all left and Malebogo Modise – who will return to Mamelodi Sundowns as his loan deal expired.
According to the information received Chilli Boys are expected to release more players. There will be changes in the technical team as well after the goalkeeper coach Sean Louw has been released.
Brandon Truter will start from the opening line as he will have full pre-season with the side ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The Eastern Cape-based side already lost their talisman Sinoxolo Kwayiba to Stellenbosch FC after only six months since returning from Orlando Pirates.
Chilli Boys are yet to sign new players for the new season, but definitely they will have to go deep in the market if they are to avoid fighting for survival next season.
