Cape Town City has landed two youngsters from Ubuntu Football Club.
The Cape Town-based side has produced some quality players over the years and has dominated youth tournaments.
Bafana Bafana defender Luke Fleurs and midfielder Jessie Donn came through the club’s development and have since moved on to Supersport United.
Recently they have produced another exciting prospect in Stellenbosch winger Antonio Van Wyk.
While Cape Town City made a few high-profile signings, the club have also been strengthened by a pair of youth acquisitions. Jody Ah Shene (18) and Jordan Allies (20) have recently signed contracts with City.
Ah Shene was part of the team that participated in the 2021 Engen Knockout Challenge. The speedy winger will join The Citizen Premier Soccer League side.
The 20-year-old Allies is a highly-rated central defender which will be aiming to sponge off the experience of South Africa internationals Lorenzo Gordinho and Taariq Fielies.
