Kaizer Chiefs coach Fernando Da Cruz has given an update on the side’s injuries saying he’s grateful to the medical team who have been working tirelessly to get everyone back.
The side started the current season without Rushine Dortley and Mduduzi Tshabalala who were injured last season, but the latter has since returned to action.

The side had to deal with the absence of Paseko Mako, Bradley Cross, Kabelo Nkwega and recently Langelihle Phili due to injury.
Chiefs are preparing for the Betway Premiership match against Siwelele in Dobsonville over the weekend looking to maintain their unbeaten run in the league.
Da Cruz said he is not going to worry himself too much about the injuries.
“There are two types of injuries,” said Da Cruz
“Injuries players had last season, so it takes time for us to recover these players at 100%.
“And the injuries that happened this season, but our medical staff is doing a very good job, and they are trying to do their best to recover the players as soon as possible.
“But when we have injured players, it shows in our squad so not worried about that.”
Reports filtering through is that Thabiso Monyane has been ruled out of competitive action for four weeks joining Phili on the sidelines.
