Kaizer Chiefs defender Dillan Solomons says they’re unaware of rumours linking head coach Nasreddine Nabi with an exit from the club, adding that they are there to put in the work ahead of their must-win clash against Polokwane City.
Amakhosi were recently crowned Nedbank Cup champions under the Tunisian mentor in his debut season which has seen his stock rise with constant links to North Africa refusing to die down.
Even though Chiefs have had an inconsistent run in the Betway Premiership, Nabi has reiterated that he wants to complete the project he came for with Solomons opting to respect people’s opinions on the matter.
“Obviously, people have been talking but there’s nothing we can do about people that are talking you know,” he said.
“We just have to do what we can do, and that’s coming to training every day and putting in the work and showing the coach that we here to work and that’s all that we can do.
“We can only control what we can control and if people are gonna talk outside that’s their opinion and we’ll see.
“You know we don’t know what’s going on. All we can do is come here and put in the work.”
