Durban City coach Pitso Dladla has addressed the prospects of permanently keeping Stellenbosch player Kyle Jurgens, who is currently on loan with them.
The 22-year-old joined the KZN club at the start of the season on a season-long loan from the Cape Winelands outfit.

Since arriving, Jurgens has quickly become an important figure in midfield for the Citizens, making 22 appearances and contributing one assist.
Dladla says, based on what he has heard, the club is “good to keep him”, taking into account the agreements that were made between the two teams.
“That one is with the management, from what I hear, we’re good to keep him considering the agreements between the two teams,” said Dladla.
“But I wouldn’t divulge much on that.”
Dladla also spoke about the versatility of Jurgens, saying he’s a player who can do more than just being defensive. They are trying to play him in a more advance role now in the midfield.
“With Kyle, I had a fight with him, I said to him, ‘Kyle, I hear stories about you that you can play a lot of positions,” he added.
“Someone told me you can play a right-back, I said it means defensively you’ve got a lot of abilities. But I think you’re also capable of being an offensive player, let’s try to improve your offensive play.
“As much as a he can play a six, but he played a different role when we played Gallants away. As a result, he provided an assist.
“We don’t want him to be predictable that he plays that position [defensively]. He’s a very good player, working hard. He’s only 22, but when you look at him play, you’d think he’s older than his age.
“But we’re working on him to be more effective when we’re attacking. A player like him should finish a season with three, four goals. I think very soon you’ll see a goal from him.”
