Dlamini Makes Admission About His Season So Far

Orlando Pirates midfielder Kabelo Dlamini has given a candid assessment of his campaign with the high-flying Buccaneers to date.

Dlamini hasn’t been a regular in the starting line-up of Abdeslam Ouaddou since the campaign began.

However, when called upon, he has made an impact—recording two assists in seven appearances, despite not starting in one of those matches.

Despite making the most of his limited opportunities, Dlamini believes it hasn’t been a good season for him personally.

He did, however, express delight at the Buccaneers’ achievements, with the team having secured both the MTN8 and Carling Knockout Cup so far.

“To be honest, I didn’t start well, it’s not yet the best [season for me],” said Dlamini during the interview with Thabiso Mosia on Radio 2000.

“But I’m happy that the team is doing well and that makes me push in order to get a chance to continue where the guys have left off or where they’re going.

“We have one goal, which is to win the trophies. I just have to keep working and when my chance comes, I grab it with two hands.”
