TS Galaxy new signing Keagan Dolly is looking forward to his new chapter at the club and has vowed to pass his experience on to the club’s youngsters both on and off the pitch.
The former Kaizer Chiefs captain was announced as the Rockets’ latest signing on Friday since leaving the Naturena-based outfit upon the expiry of his contract on 30 June 2024.
Dolly, 31, spent some time in the football wilderness and trained with SuperSport United for a few weeks under the watchful eye of Gavin Hunt, who eventually opted to sign Vincent Pule instead.
Speaking to the club’s media in his first interview since joining the Mpumalanga-based outfit, the former Mamelodi Sundowns and Montpellier winger expressed gratitude toward everyone associated with the club at the opportunity to once again revive his football career.
“Obviously, very exciting, excited to join this family,” Dolly told the club’s media.
“It’s been a couple of months. Everyone knows that I’ve been away from football and not having a team, but I’ve always said we’re looking for the best project that will suit me and suit my family.
“And, we’ve found a family in TS Galaxy. We couldn’t be happier to be a part of this and we’re just looking forward to enjoying myself again.
“Work hard, contribute to the team on and off the field because I feel there’s a lot of youngsters here at the club who are very exciting and I’m just going to try my best to help them. Contribute and score a few more goals and just enjoy football.
