Done Deal: Stellies Snap Up Downs Winger

Stellenbosch FC have finally reached an agreement on personal terms with Mamelodi Sundowns winger Lesiba Nku after the deal had collapsed two weeks ago.

A fortnight ago, Stellenbosch was close to signing Nku after reaching an agreement with Sundowns for the move, but the deal collapsed after the player failed to reach an agreement with Stellies.

With just one day left before the window transfer closes, this publication has been informed that Stellenbosch re-visited Nku deal and finally reached an agreement with the player.

The 28-year-old is set to arrive in Cape Town on Monday afternoon or by latest tomorrow to complete his medicals.

The former Marumo Gallants winger is joining Stellenbosch on permanent deal. He is the second signing for the Winelands side this transfer window after Thato Khiba completed a move from TS Galaxy.

Nku will be allowed to play the CAF Confederation Cup for the Stellies as he didn’t feature for Sundowns in the CAF Champions League.
