Following a busy schedule with CAF inter-club competitions for both Sundowns and Stellenbosch, domestic action returns when the two sides tussle at DHL Stadium.

This will be Miguel Cardoso’s first league game since taking over after Manqoba Mngqithi’s sacking. The Portuguese mentor will have to look for another option in the midfield with Mokoena suspended after receiving his fourth yellow card of the term in the 3-0 win against Sekhukhune United.

Stellies on the other hand will be without their on-form defender Toure who received his fourth yellow card in a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Orlando Pirates two weeks ago.
The Cape Winelands side arrived on Monday afternoon in Cape Town ahead of the big clash against Sundowns after their trip to neighbouring Angola where they picked up their first CAF Confederation Cup win after beating Desportivo Lunda-Sul 1-0.
Their last fixture in Cape Town was over a month ago which was against TS Galaxy.
