Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Wandile Duba has revealed that he does extra work after the club’s training with Mduduzi Shabalala and Samkelo Zwane to keep fit and get better.
Chiefs have endured an inconsistent start to the 2024/25 season that has also seen the attack missing countless chances in front of goal despite dominating some games. Amakhosi are currently in sixth position with 18 points after 13 outings.
Duba who has been on target four times so far believes everything can be fixed with training and doing extra work to help his course of being assisting the team.
“There is nothing better than going to the training field and try again and fix things, shoot in training as attackers and wingers as we always do,” said Duba.

“I train on the side as well with this other fitness trainer together with Shaba [Mdu Shabalala] and [Samkelo] Zwane. There is a guy that we go to who helps us. We go to gym and train just to keep fit.”
Duba also insisted that he analyses his own performances after every game to try and improve the team.
“I tell myself that I’m going to give my all in every game,” he added.
“I’m determined and I play well even if the team doesn’t do well, I’m always determined.
“After the game we do individual analysis, and I look at what mistakes I need to fix for the next game so that I can do better.”
